Art In The Park – Nov, 2018

Art In The Park, Rondebosch Park was a great event and In The Zone was suitably represented with paintings by both Rose & Kim displayed for sale.

After packing up our studio and unpacking all our tables and paraphernalia on site, it was a battle to tie our paintings down before strong gusts of wind blew our canvases away. Between gasps and giggles, Rose and Kim were either under the tables tying knots in string or leaping after a canvas or price tag that had decided to visit the stall next door! We used an entire ball of string, but the result was worth it. Unfortunately some stall holders were a little less prepared. Do hope their artwork weathered the weather.

Wandering around the park it was interesting to see the varied work of all the artists as well as mingling and chatting to them. It’s very inspiring to connect with other like-minded people. Unfortunately the dappled forest light made photo-taking a bit difficult, but here are a few examples.

Both Rose and Kim thoroughly enjoyed their day out and without hesitation, will be back for the next one in 2019.

Thank you SASA for an awesome event. Do hope everyone had a very successful day.
