Holiday Workshops – (Oct 2018)

Due to Rose & Kim’s studies at this time, we only offered 3 days of school holiday workshops at In The Zone and what a success they were!

Over 3 days, the kids had fun painting an A2 dinner table, with place setting, dish of delicious food and one gross item; they made their own totem head to scare away bad dreams; and they also completed a painted safari canvas.

Dinner Plate Project

Everyone had to think of their favourite food and one disgusting item, all to be combined on one dinner plate. We had cake with snails, spaghetti with avocado pear, sushi & dog poop for instance. Thoughts to tablecloth and cutlery design was taken into consideration.

Totem Head

We had bags of bits and pieces and decorations and the kids had loads of fun drawing, painting, and cutting and sticking. It really was a very super duper messy project.

Going on Safari

One of the children’s favourites! Drawing animals from plastic toys, painting sunsets and reflections all teach the children observation techniques through play. Their results were AMAZING! Note, the youngest is 5 and neither Rose nor Kim touch their work. It is 100% their own.

Our workshops were a great success and both the kids and their parents were very pleased with the results. Each piece of artwork is displayed in their homes for everyone to see.
