Looking Back – ITZ 2018

2018 has been an awesome, interesting and challenging year for both Kim & Rose as they both decided to complete a degree in Visual Communication as well as run In The Zone. At times, eyes wide shut from exhaustion, they continued to teach both adults and children during the week and catch up on studies over the weekend. It was worth it as both were awarded their degree. Whoohoo!!!! Clap. Clap. Clap. Rose & Kim are feeling very proud and it would not have been the same if one had to have studied it on their own. It was great doing it together as too older biddies! 🙂

In The Zone grew to two adult evening classes (Mon & Wed) and one morning class (Tues) … and one kids’ class (Wed afternoons) with students thoroughly enjoying their painting projects. We also hosted very successful school holiday workshops throughout the year.

A few pictures from our ADULT ART CLASSES: (most of them had NEVER painted before!):

We also hosted numerous BIRTHDAY PARTIES for both children and adults:

Kim & Rose also managed (at times) to paint their own works but not as much as they would have liked to. 2019 will definitely be easier to concentrate on finding the time to perfect their craft.

Rose and Kim have a good feeling about 2019 and are both excited as to what lies ahead.

Here’s wishing all our students, friends and family an amazing and happy holiday and we hope to see you at In The Zone, even if you just pop by for a cup of tea and a chat.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone!
